The focus of the Society is the preservation of artefacts of historical significance relating to fire-fighting services in the Canberra region over a many number of years

The Fire Brigade Historic Society of the Act was formed in 1979, and is located in the historic Forrest Fire Station, 14 Empire Circuit, Forrest. (Between Canberra Ave and Fitzroy St), Forrest, Canberra.

We have a number of restored fire appliances currently on show, dating from 1913 through till the mid 1980s. Others are in storage due space constraints

The general public are very welcome to visit on Saturdays 10am to 2pm. Please follow us on Facebook for updates.

A simple donation is always most gratefully received and helps keep the various projects operating
